Students from grades 5 to 8 demonstrated their knowledge in biology, chemistry, and ecology during the competition. The event aims to foster young people's understanding of ecology, sustainability, and the importance of a harmonious relationship between humans and nature.
“We organized the BioSciences Olympiad to inspire students to explore the secrets of life sciences and recognize their significance in today’s world. The Olympiad promotes a responsible and environmentally conscious attitude and lifestyle. We hope that participation in this event will encourage students to contribute to creating a world where knowledge, values, and innovation come together,” said Prof. Dr. Aelita Bredelytė, head of the KU Methodical STEAM Center.
