BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING IN THE CAROTID ARTERY(SYSTEM/DEVICE)
|
Measuring blood pressure in the carotid artery is valuable and highly appreciated in medicine as it is physiologically very close to the blood pressure in the aortic arch. As a result, much more accurate information is extracted about the effects of medicaments used when regulating blood pressure. Besides, the device accurately mechanically measures the carotid artery radius, which is impossible by similar types of devices. By measuring the size of the artery lumen and recording the changes, it is possible to identify a sclerosed artery. So far such measurement has been possible only by invasive methods.

TECHNOLOGY FOR BIOLOGICAL CLEANUP OF OIL POLLUTANTS
|
InoBioTech is an innovative bioremediation technology for the degradation of spilled crude oil, petroleum products, alternative fuels from renewable biomass, and wastes in the marine environment using micro-organism cultures isolated from the Baltic Sea coast (sand and water).
Application areas: water transport sector to eliminate water pollution in the sea, harbor, and coast enterprises. The technology is aimed at spill response and clean-up companies for petroleum products, alternative fuels, and their blends, as well as for the supply chain of these blends, covering the extraction/production, transport and use phases.

PNEUMOMECHANICAL TROLLEY FOR CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION
|
The invention is a pneumomechanical container transportation trolley in which the kinetic energy of the load impact is converted into the potential energy of compressed air for use in the operation of the container trolley and other pneumatic devices. At the same time, protecting against unexpected drops in pressure in the compressed air storage and distribution system protects against damage to the trolley and the load. The invention is implemented by the use of pneumatic dampers for compressing air in primary and secondary compressed air reservoirs.

METHOD AND SYSTEM TO DETECT REPEATABLE IMPACTS TO THE CORNERS OF THE CONTAINERS BY CRANE SPREADER HOOKING MECHANISM
|
The method for detecting repeated mechanical impacts to a container during its hooking procedures using a spreader with its hooking mechanism. The method is applicable for individual full handling cycles, from ship to shore and vice versa, for all conventional spreaders with hooking mechanisms of the same design and operational principle. The system includes a monitoring system with a processor that receives acceleration signals from a sensor and a digital gyroscope to determine the rate of acceleration and the normal operational position of the attached system in a 3D environment.
The method is relevant for cargo and cargo insurance companies to increase the security of equipment in operation.

SHRIMP TOWER – MULTI-LAYER SHRIMP CULTIVATION TANK)
|
The shrimp tower invention is a component of a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) used for the production of the whiteleg shrimp species. The invention aims to save land, improve cost-effectiveness and create the right conditions to make shrimp farming in RAS much more efficient and less expensive. The main advantage of the technology is its cost-effectiveness, as it saves the land used for shrimp farming and produces the same number of shrimps in a smaller area. The silo can also be insulated and built outdoors (no separate facilities are needed for operation), saving up to 40% of the initial investment needed to set up the shrimp farming infrastructure.

AUTOMATIC ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR DRILLING IRREGULAR WORKPIECES |
The automated robotic drilling system for irregular workpieces is designed to increase the production efficiency of CNC and mechanical machine tools and improve the speed and quality of the production process for jewellery. The system consists of integrated models for finding the geometric centre of an irregularly shaped object and for issuing and controlling the position of the drill, using computer vision and artificial intelligence techniques.
The application of this robotic drilling system may be of interest to entities whose products are manufactured with CNC machines or with standard mechanical machines, as its implementation would significantly improve the accuracy and quality of drilling. We also offer drilling system installation services and training related to system installation and development.
Parameters - working image dimensions 120mm X 60mm, working height 305mm, object size from 5mm to 25mm.

FLOATING CONSTRUCTIONS – ARTIFICIAL WETLANDS
|
With a unique design (made of environmentally friendly, low-polluting materials) and set-up (customizable on a case-by-case basis), the artificial floating islands are designed to remove nutrients to improve the water quality of eutrophicated lagoons in the Southern Baltic region. Restoration of coastal habitats in wetlands is of interest, as well as local improvement of water quality through absorption and removal of nutrients. These islands help to address the above-mentioned problems that may be faced by entities operating water reservoirs or aquaculture.

FORECASTS AND DATA OF THE HYDRODYNAMIC OPERATIONAL MODEL OF THE CURONIAN LAGOON AND THE BALTIC SEA (LITHUANIAN LITTORAL)
|
An operational hydrodynamic model is one of the tools used to manage the marine environment and make targeted decisions. Operational modeling, which not only provides real-time spatial data at sea, but also a forecast of the data at sea, could significantly facilitate the work of various services. A 3D version of the model is used, which also allows data to be presented by depth, e.g. 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 m depth; surface and sub-sea data, or according to the user's needs. The operational model performs calculations from the source of the Nemunas River, covering the entire Curonian Lagoon and part of the southeastern Baltic Sea, and mainly focusing on the coast of Lithuania. The main potential users of the model may be institutions involved in activities in the Curonian Lagoon, the Port of Klaipėda or the Baltic Sea.
