The book explores the generation of young people who came of age during the post-socialist transformation period in Lithuania. Drawing on oral life histories and quantitative sociological research data, the study reveals generational identities, social character, social careers, the transition to adulthood, the formation of personal lives, and life in a mobile world.
Dr. Kraniauskienė's research focuses on the life trajectories of individuals born between 1980 and 2000, their transition to adulthood, and the structural and normative changes that shape this process.
The monograph was developed in collaboration with co-authors from Vilnius University and the University of Gloucestershire (United Kingdom).
